Miley Cyrus throws dartos to Dua Lipa in her new song

Subject Beautifulthe expected new album by Miley Cyrus, came this Friday with a mixture of vulnerability, high profile collaborations and, apparently, a possible indirect to Dua Lipa.
Everything points to the song “Event Girl You’ve Ever Love”, where a line has generated controversy between fans and experts.
The stanza in question says:
“A perfect Frenchman speaks / dances all night / and yet, he will not escape a sweat.”
Although it may seem like a generic description, many point out that Dua Lipa meets those three characteristics: French speech (as he demonstrated in his cameo in the remix of “Talk Talk” of Charli XCX and Troye Sivan), is known for dancing intensely (“Dance The Night”of Barbie), and has been the subject of teasing in the past to seem not very expressive or “without sweating”, as suggested by the viral meme “Go Girl Give Ushing”.
For some, Cyrus would be contrasting his own scenic intensity with the apparent emotional coldness of Lipa, although it could also be an undercover praise to the professionalism with which the British dominates the stage.
The tension between the two is not new: since its collaboration in 2020 with “Prison”they have not returned to work together, which has fed rumors of distancing.
In “Every girl you’ve Ever Loved”Cyrus is not alone. It is accompanied by Naomi Campbell on the song of the song, and is only one of the outstanding figures in Subject Beautifulwhich has an impressive list of collaborators such as Shawn Everett, Ryan Tedder, Andrew Wyatt, Kid Harpoon, Brittany Howard, and members of Alvvays, among others.
Meanwhile, Dua Lipa continues his European tour promoting Radical Optimismhis 2024 album, and prepares for his tour of North America as of September.
Indirect, tribute or introspection? The truth is that Miley Cyrus has given again what to talk about.
