Miley Cyrus used to lie to her accountant about drug use

CDMX.- Miley Cyrus used to hide his accountant with the money he spent on drugs, a situation that he weighed at the passage of time because he did not want to accept that he had an addiction, as he revealed in an episode of the Every Single Album podcast of The Ringer.
“The drugs were the biggest expense, and to hide them to my accountant, we called them ‘vintage clothes’, Cyrus said when talking about their 2015 album, Miley Cyrus & Her Dead Petz. “And then I received these checks. That happens all the time during the tours.”
“Every time I saw me, I asked me: ‘Where is that original John Lennon shirt of about 15 thousand dollars that you bought?’ Fortunately, according to the singer -songwriter, that stage was already behind and currently tries to stay sober and without lying to her work team.
“I bought a lot of vintage clothes that year,” he said, laughing. “The truth, I’m very happy to have survived that stage of my life. I would definitely not encourage anyone to go through something so difficult, but I am very happy that I have surpassed it.”
In the same podcast, Cyrus revealed that Disney forbade him to perform songs from his Hannah Montana program after he came to an end, although it was only for a while. “It’s not that I would like to do it. Interpreting ‘The Best of Both Worlds’ between ‘We Can’t Stop’ and ‘Wrecking Ball’ wouldn’t have made much sense,” he said. “Even so, it was sad to know that those songs had my voice, my face, and that they did not allow me to sing them.”
