Miley Cyrus’s tattoo that could bring you legal problems: “I try to cover it”

Throughout his career, Miley Cyrus has embodied her memories, passions and youthful impulses in her skin. However, the singer has recently recognized that not all her tattoos would continue to make sense for her today.
During an interview, the artist reflected with humor and honesty about some designs that, although significant at the time, today would reconsider. “I love my pets, but wearing the face of a pitbull forever can be too much,” he said.
Among the tattoos that generate the most are several related to their animals, colorful figures in their hands, such as an alien head, a heart and watermelon, and one in particular that has come to legally bother it: the word Bad tattooed on your ring finger. The latter, he revealed, was a tribute to the iconic Michael Jackson album. Although he did it as a tribute, Cyrus confessed with a laugh that the use of original typography has caused problems: “Everyone wants to claim rights over him, so I try to cover it. I don’t think Jackson’s legacy approves this,” he said with irony.
Another theme that played was the link of some tattoos with his ex -partner, actor Liam Hemsworth. Although they are no longer together, the singer has not removed shared designs, such as a Mexican skull on her ankle or a vegemite bottle, the popular Australian food. These confessions come while promoting their most recent album, Subject Beautifulan introspective and experimental work that has unexpected collaborations, such as the Naomi Campbell supermodel. This new album, like ‘Miley Cyrus and her dead pets’, released in August 2025, seems to represent a stage in which the artist embraces her story, with her past and her present.
