Innovation Meet Up, the great innovation challenge of Tecmilenio, summons students from all over the country to offer solutions to real business challenges. Creativity, technology, the business world and young talent held a profitable encounter in the Riviera Maya. He Innovation Meetup 2025 He concluded with the participation of 250 finalists who proposed solutions to real challenges raised by 11 leading companies: Banorte, Daikin, FEMSA, Grupo Xcaret, HP Enterprise, Kia, Pinsa, Remington, Tech Mahindra, Tecmilenio and Viva. This event, the most relevant of Tecmilenio in issues of innovation and employability, consolidated the institution as a reference of effective link between young talent and the productive sector of the American continent.

For several weeks, more than 1,200 participants worked on challenges such as the design of invisible financial experiences, the digital sale of air conditioners, the use of artificial intelligence for labor well -being or the creation of immersive worlds in Minecraft to reinforce organizational cultures.

The most prominent proposals were presented in Cancun before a jury of executives, teachers and experts in innovation, in an environment that combined academic rigor with the energy of a creative festival. The 11 winning teams, from all over the country, won various awards and the opportunity to implement their projects in these companies. In the end, the Nomess team, originally from Chihuahua, rose with the winner of winners to design a razor that absorbs the hair before the sink falls.

From technological platforms to social interventions, projects showed a vision committed to the current work world challenges. “Tecmilenio promotes comprehensive training that combines technical and human skills. The student community is distinguished by being complete, competent and conscious. It is a source of pride that authenticly represent the values ​​of this university”, Rector Bruno Zepeda expressed in his inauguration speech.

In addition, the event included a session of Networking, Three conferences and an awards ceremony. “The difficult thing is resolved immediately; in the impossible you can take a little more time,” said Elizabeth Lugo, executive director of Operations of Grupo Xcaret, in her talk. “The commitment to a clear personal and professional purpose strengthens each decision. He Innovation Meetup 2025 evidenced the transformative potential of an education focused on the purpose of life and practical experience. Companies and students agreed that the collaboration generated valuable learning for both parties, and several projects initiated monitoring and linking processes to create in real contexts.

This meeting, in its ninth edition, reaffirms Tecmilenio’s commitment to a flexible, innovative and deeply connected educational model with the professional environment. Tecmilenio continues to consolidate as an innovation hub where learning makes sense in solving real problems, while strengthening the connection between young talent and the Latin American business ecosystem.
