The Shakira concert scheduled for Thursday night (May 29) at the Boston Fenway Park was canceled just a few hours before its start “due to unforeseen circumstances,” the stadium announced on its social networks. The Jason Aldean and Brooks & Dunn show scheduled for Friday night in the same place was also canceled.

“The presentations of Shakira and (from) Jason Aldean and Brooks & Dunn, originally scheduled for May 29 and 30, respectively, in Fenway Park, have been canceled,” says a statement in English and Spanish. “Refunds will be made at the point of purchase. Excuse the inconvenience.”

According to local media, this week’s concerts – part of the Fenway 2025 concert series – were canceled due to a problem with the stage during an essay, which led to Boston inspection services to close it.
