After surprising his audience in North Carolina with Alejandro Sanz and Wyclef Jean as special guests earlier this week, Shakira brought another star to the stage on Thursday (May 15), in his first two nights at the Metlife Stadium in East Rutherford, New Jersey
Puerto Rican singer Ozuna joined the Colombian superstar to interpret his “monotony” collaboration, included in his Grammy winning album Women no longer crywhich names the tour. The song, a bachata on heartbreak released in October 2022 through Sony Music Latin, spent nine weeks in No. 1 of the tropical airplay tropical list of Billboard and six weeks at the Latin Airplay top. It also reached No. 3 of Hot Latin Songs.
Shakira began the American stage of his world tour of women no longer cry on Tuesday (May 13) at the Bank of America Stadium in Charlotte, North Carolina, where Sanz appeared to interpret her passionate “The torture” and the rapper Wyclef Jean to revive his success No. 1 of Hot 100, “Hips Don’t Lie”.
The show marked the continuation of its historic tour of Latin America, where it marked world collection records in March. In its American section, you will visit the main cities of the United States and Canada, including Montreal, Toronto, Miami, Los Angeles and Las Vegas, before concluding on June 30 in San Francisco.
For his second night at the Metlife Stadium on Friday (May 16), Shakira has already announced special Pitbull and Rauw Alejandro appearances.
