A man of approximately 50 years old was found dead in the Plan Tres Mil in Santa Cruz de la Sierra. The body was covered with garbage and branches, which caused great concern among residents of the area.

The discovery occurred on Tuesday, January 14, 2025, when area residents alerted authorities to the situation. The Homicide Division arrived at the scene and transferred the body to the Pampa de la Isla morgue. The necessary investigations will be carried out there to determine the causes of death and try to identify the victim.

Neighborhood concern

Neighbors expressed concern about the state of the place where the body was found. “With the segments it was covered. That garbage has been there since Sunday,” commented a neighbor upon realizing the discovery. This type of situation has generated a climate of uncertainty among the inhabitants of the sector.

The commander of Plan Tres Mil, Víctor Hugo Cárdenas, reported that the corresponding investigations are being carried out. The objective is to identify the deceased, determine the causes of death and establish whether or not it is a homeless person.
