Mystery on the border with Chile: they found 27 million in packages and medicines
A mysterious discovery caused surprise in the province of Neuquén. In the Cajón de los Chenques, near the border with Chile, packages with medicines, clothing and more than 27 million pesos were found.
As reported by the Río Negro newspaper on its cover today, the discovery took place on January 10. However, the news began to gain notoriety today. According to the National Gendarmerie, the discovery occurred after an operation by the security forces.
The place where the packages were seen is close to the border with Route 54 and the border with Chili. When they began to inspect the bags scattered on the road, they came across veterinary medications, clothing and other types of products. The strange thing is that they never found the owner of the objects.
After the operation and the corresponding inspection, the gendarmes seized the contents of the bags and took them to the nearest unit. At this point there are two hypotheses: a loss or theft followed by abandonment. As the hours pass, the second takes on more strength than the first.
For its part, the Radio Chos Malal 102.1 reported that the medications found are for veterinary use and of foreign origin. In addition, they indicated that among the merchandise they found:
- 76 serums for horses
- 389 various medications for horses
- 286 energizers for horses
- 1208 vitamin supplements for horses
- 148 “gaucho” type clothing items
- 15 dunks
