Pedro Pascal, Ariana Grande and other 100 artists sign to protect the suicide prevention telephone of LGTBI youth who wants to remove Trump

The United States government intends to cut funds for the country’s suicide care telephone 988 Suicide and Crisis Lifeline. We will not be silent,” they say.

“This goes from people, not politics. In a moment of deep division, let’s let this be something that we can all agree on: no young man should run out of help at their darkest moment. If this lifeguard is removed, young LGBTQ+ receive the message that it is not worth saving their lives. We refuse to accept that message,” the text continues, which also signs diplo, Marina & The Diamond Paris Hilton, Sarah Paulson, Julia Michaels or Tove Lo, among many others. “We ask the Administration and Congress to do the right thing: restore and protect the financing of specialized services for young LGBTQ+ of 988 Suicide & Lifeline crisis in the budget of fiscal year 2026,” they say.

“To all young LGBTQ+ who read this: you are not alone. We see you. We value you. You have the right to feel safe, supported and dear exactly as you are. You deserve to have access to vital services that honor your humanity,” continues the message, to conclude: “We will continue to rise your voice. We will not stop fighting for you.”

The organization ensures that the list will be updated as more artists are signing.
