A Peruvian police megaoperative, with American support, executed in several points of Lima ended the capture of 20 people belonging to the Transnational Criminal Band the Aragua Train and the release of 84 victims, two of them minors, reported this Saturday Official sources.

In addition, “at least eight locations were identified to execute the arrest of approximately 24 individuals to dismantle a suspicious network of trafficking in persons involving around 50 minor victims.”

The embassy added that the United States National Security Department works with its partners in the application of the law as a priority “to combat the growing threats to public security that represent transnational criminal organizations.”
