More than a year this congress has been preparing that it has been «a church party that reminds us that we are all called and that the Lord does not stop calling. From there it is from where we are promoting our vocational pastoral in the Diocese of Malaga, in which we have been pioneers with experiences such as Mount Horeb, ”adds Fernando. As the previous Lay Congress, this Congress of Vocations has been preceded by a previous work, the pre-collection, in which it has deepened about discernment. After this Congress, the post-congress will come, which will be a continuity of the lived consolidating in the local churches a synodal work that encourages life, lived as a vocation, promoting all the forms of Christian life (Laical-Matrimonial, consecrated, ministerial), In communion.
And it is that «the vocational question is a challenge of our time and our Church, and together we want to put ourselves to the listening of the Lord, to echo the question that Pope Francis formulates in the exhortation Christut Vivit (n. 286): “Who am I?”, And who names this Congress, “explain from the organization,” we want to give rise to a collaboration exercise, a shared project between laity, marriages, consecrated and priests.
