Rhode Island police chief rejects the serial killer’s theory after the discovery of human remains near Taylor Swift’s mansion
The police chief of a coastal city of Rhode Island says that there is no connection between the human remains found on Wednesday and the fears on the Internet about a serial killer in New England.
“As far as I am concerned, at this time, this has nothing to do with any serial killer (Ni) with any New England murderer,” Westerly police chief Paul Gingerella, Fox News Digital.
The remains were found in the rich coastal enclave of Watch Hill, which is part of the city of Westerly.

A few kilometers is the Ocean House, a luxurious tourist complex located in the cliffs of Watch Hill, with sea views.
Gingerella attributed fears about serial killers to the “power of social media.” Despite rumors, he continues to think that social media “have more advantages than inconveniences,” he added.

Speculation has taken over New England after 13 bodies have been discovered in Connecticut, Rhode Island and Massachusetts Since the beginning of March.
Gingerella told Fox News Digital that Rhode Island’s forensic doctor’s office is working to positively identify the remains.

Of the 13 bodies found, five have been found in Massachusetts, five in Connecticut and three in Rhode Island.
Six of the deceased have been identified as women and three as men. The sex of the remaining four is unknown.
The age ranges of those identified also vary. Seven of the victims were over 45, while two were between 25 and 44 years old.
The finding in Westerly occurs three weeks after an unidentified male was found on the Seekonk River, in Pawtucket, Rhode Island. Westerly and Pawtucket are about 48 kilometers away.
The first corpse found in Rhode Island was that of Michele Romano, found in the town of Foster in March, about 49 miles from Westerly.
Romano’s family said his death is not related to any possible serial killer.
“In the light of the recent comments that have been made, we know that Michele’s death is not related to any type of serial murderer,” the family said when their remains were identified.
“We have full confidence in the Rhode Island State Police and in our private investigator in which the responsible person will be taken before the justice sooner!
The Rhode Island State Police and the FBI did not respond to requests for comments.
