The rapper Chris Brown was arrested This Thursday in Manchester, the United Kingdom, for its possible participation in a violent act that occurred in 2023. The apprehension happened inside a hotel in the city in the United Kingdom, however, the authorities avoided revealing the name of the subject involved, they only identified him as a 36 -year -old man “Suspected of causing serious injuries.”
The incident that gave reason to the arrest occurred at the Tape nightclub, located in Hanover Square, an exclusive area of Mayfair, in downtown London. According to the medium the Sun, The music producer Abe Diaw accused Chris Brown of having attacked him in that place, throwing a bottle at the head of the producer and then hitting him when he was already on the floor.
However, despite these background, Chris Brown plans to continue his musical career and return to the stage soon since it is expected that in June and July this year it will take around ten concerts in several British cities as part of the new world tour.
In addition to the recent arrest, the singer’s legal history has been extensive and includes several complaints of violent behavior. This was approached in the documentary Chris Brown: A History of Violence, which was broadcast on October 27, 2024 through the Discovery research channel.
The documentary examines the various complaints that has been the subject of the singer over time, including accusations of sexual violence. As a reaction, Brown filed a claim of 500 million dollars against the channel and the producer of the documentary, along with other companies involved, arguing that the production contained false statements and manipulations.
