Saif Ali Khan stabbing case: Mystery of broken knife continues

Mumbai, January 18. Recently, Bandra police recovered a second piece of the knife used to attack the actor.

This knife fragment was found in the children’s room of Saif Ali Khan and Kareena Kapoor’s Bandra residence. The knife has been sent for forensic examination and fingerprinting.

However, the big question here is why the police found the second part of the knife three days later. Amid this controversy, some sources claim that the second part of the knife was found in the hospital on the same day the first part was found on Saif’s body.

Still, why did the police wait three days to release this information to the media?

To refresh your memory, Saif Ali Khan had a piece of knife inserted into his back, which was later removed by doctors during a surgery.

Earlier, Nitin Dange, chief neurosurgeon at Lilavati Hospital, had issued a statement that if the stab wound on the spine had been 2 mm deeper, the actor could have been paralyzed. The doctor was quoted as saying: “Whatever was close to his spinal cord was very close. “If it had been 2mm deeper, I could have been paralyzed.”

Meanwhile, posters of the absconding accused have been put up in various police stations as a warning. Both Kareena Kapoor and the guardian were shown a photograph of the accused, but the police did not say whether they recognized him. The identity of the accused will be revealed only after physical examination of the suspect in Chhattisgarh.

Meanwhile, the police are yet to find out how the accused entered Saif Ali Khan’s apartment in Bandra.

The attacker reportedly left for Dadar after the incident. He reportedly bought a pair of earphones from a mobile phone shop in the city’s Kaptan Khana area. Members of the police, together with the police, visited the store, checked the security camera footage and questioned the shopkeeper. When asked about the incident, the shopkeeper said he was not aware of the attack.

Also, the police found Bhajan Singh Rana, the autorickshaw driver who took Saif Ali Khan to Lilavati hospital after the attack. His statement was also recorded at the Bandra police station.
