Scooter Braun feels “much guilt” towards the young artists he directed.
The 43 -year -old businessman previously worked with some of the most important names in the music industry, such as Justin Bieber, Ariana Grande and Demi Lovato, but now looks back with some repentance.
During the last broadcast of the Podcast The Diary of A Ceo, Scooter explained: “At this age, I feel a lot of blame. I feel very guilty because I worked with many artists and, as I told you, I had not taken the time to look at myself or take therapy until I was old own families and their own childhoods, and that grew in this way and were seen throughout the world. “
Scooter feels “very proud” of what he has achieved with artists like Justin, Ariana and Demi.
But now the businessman would like all his artists to have had access to a therapist during his youth years.
He said: “I am very proud of the work we did and how much we care and how much the team worried during all the years we did. But that does not mean that I do not look behind and want to have known what I know now. I think I would have had a therapist on the road to all of us. He would have stopped us all.”
Scooter announced his retirement from musical management in 2024.
The record executive said he was lucky to have worked with “some of the people of more extraordinary talent that the world has ever seen.”
He said in a statement at that time: “I have been lucky enough to live a life like Forrest Gump while witnessing and participating in the trips of some of the most talent people that the world has ever seen. I constantly pinch and I ask myself: ‘How have I get here?’
