Selena Gomez has joked that her sister loves her “aunt” Taylor Swift more than her.

Only Murders in the Building’s little sister, Gracie Teefey, turned 12 on Thursday (12.06.25) and although the 32 -year -old star loves spending time with the little girl, she admitted that the preteen is much more interested in her good friend.

Selena shared a video on her Instagram Story, in which she was sitting on a bed while Gracie was next to a television, and when the little girl gave the remote control, Taylor’s video began to sound for The Man.

Gracie told her sister: “It’s already, now we can also see the video.”

Selena subtitled the clip: “When she loves Aunt Taylor more than me.”

Lose You To Love singer also shared a photo carousel of her and Gracie over the years and could not help shed a tear for her link.

He wrote: “Happy birthday to my ladybug. While I cry writing this, my heart melts because I know that I am always on your side. Whatever happens. I love you baby.”

Selena and Taylor, 35, met in 2008 when they went out with Nick and Joe Jonas respectively, and very soon became friends.

Taylor previously told The Wall Street Journal in 2020: “I knew since I met her (Selena) who would always support her. In my life, I have the ability to forgive people who have hurt me. But I don’t know if I can forgive someone who hurts her.”

And Selena, 32, told how “they congenied instantly”

He said: “That was my girl. We both went through many things at the same time. She taught me a lot about how I should be treated at an early age.”

Selena previously praised Taylor as “one of the best composers” when he reviewed some of the songs on his reproduction list AT Home With Selena Gomez, which included the success of her friend, Lover.

From the song, he said: “There is really nothing to say apart from that this is another song that shows his ability to return to the old, to also combine it with his challenge of doing new things with his music. I think he is as pure as that – always, not even partial, I just think he is one of the greatest composers.”
