Selena Gomez said that her bipolarity diagnosis helped her in her mental health projects

Selena Gomez has always been very open when talking about her mental health. In 2020, the actress and singer was diagnosed with bipolar disorder, which represented a turning point in her life.
In a recent interview with Spanish Billboard, The actress told how her diagnosis is to talk about mental disordersbut not from compassion but to make visible and offer help to those who need it.

In 2020, Selena Gomez created the Rare Impact Fund, an organization associated with its Rare Beauty brand that helps finance programs that expand access to mental health services for young people.
