Senatur launches educational competence with Minecraft to promote Jesuit missions

The National Secretariat of Tourism (Senatur), in alliance with the Ministry of Education and Sciences (MEC), officially presented the national competition “Guardians of Heritage: Edition 2025 Jesuit missions”, a pioneer initiative that fuses technology, culture and education through the Minecraft Education platform.

Aimed at children and young people between 7 and 18, this competition seeks to arouse interest in the historical legacy of the Jesuit missions through an interactive and pedagogical format. Participants will receive free training for two months to learn to use Minecraft Education, an educational tool based on the popular Minecraft video game, aimed at creative and collaborative learning.

As a main incentive, the best project will be awarded with a PlayStation 5 console, recognizing dedication, ingenuity and commitment to national history and culture.

In addition to technical training, contestants must develop an original project that represents and promotes the legacy of Jesuit missions, combining historical research and digital creativity.

The Registration are open and the quotas are limited. The bases and conditions by category can be accessed through This link. For additional consultations, the number (0981) 136 999 is also enabled.
