Two legends of Latin music have just shake the industry. Shakira and Alejandro Sanz launched “Besame” on May 23, 2025, finishing their twenty -year -old musical pause.
This new song is the third collaboration between these music stars. In 2005, they hit “the torture”, followed by “I thank you, but not.” For this last project, both artists recorded their parts separately in different studies.
“We mix a little of our individual flavors, a touch of imagination and, yes, a little more experience to create this song. There is no doubt, she loves flamenco, and we both admire the work of the other,” Sanz told Hi.
“The torture” dominated the Latin Grammy of 2006. The song, which mixed reggaeton with pop rhythms, took both recording and song of the year.
The clues about “Besame” came out during their recent concerts. Sanz shared: “I joked with her, ‘And when do we do another song? You only make music with the handsome talented …’.”
The stars shared the stage in Texas in mid -May. The Colombian singer later published: “You can spend a thousand years but what happens to us on stage will always be unique.”
This new song is built on a friendship that began in the ’05. His second collaboration “I thank you but not” combined Spanish pop with danceable and energetic Latin rhythms.
