Shakira Aplaza Show in Los Angeles for protests against ICE raids

Shakira postponed his concert at the Sofi stadium in Los Angeles, which was scheduled for June 20, and rescheduled it for August 4, after protests against the massive raids executed by the Immigration and Customs Control Service (ICE),
The delay adds to a series of cancellations and changes in the tour of the Colombian singer. The most recent occurred on May 31 in Washington, when production could not arrive on time from Boston, a city where a concert had already been canceled on May 29.
The tour faced difficulties from the beginning, since the dates planned between November and December 2024 in the United States and Canada moved to 2025 for high demand and the decision to change the venues.
In an interview with the BBC published this Friday, Shakira criticized American immigration policy and said that being an immigrant in the US. “Means living with constant fear.”
In addition, he called on unity, stressing that although a country can change its immigration policies, treatment towards all people must always be human.
