Shakira becomes the world’s most grossing artist in 2025

The tour ‘Women no longer cry’ of the Colombian singer Shakira has been the most successful of a Latin artist in the first semester of 2025. According to the half -year ranking of Billboard Boxscore, Shakira has raised 130 million dollars on his tour that has so far visited several countries in Latin America and is currently in the middle of his tour by the United States.
The ranking records concerts from October 31, 2024 to March 31, 2025. Shakira obtained the second general place of the middle of the year, only surpassed by Coldplay. So far Shakira has performed 21 concerts while Coldplay appeared at 20 shows but raised 142 million dollars.
Despite the great success he has registered, Shakira’s tour has suffered several inconveniences and some of his concerts, both in Latin America and in the United States, have been reprogrammed by operational and technical problems.
Last week the singer was obliged to cancel her concert in Boston and also in Washington. The Boston concert was canceled for “unforeseen circumstances” while the cancellation in Washington was due to the fact that the team could not move on time for the show in the capital.
The singer issued a statement in which she regretted not being able to offer the concert as scheduled on her tour ‘Women no longer cry’ in the United States.
“Due to circumstances outside my will, it saddens me and it hurts not to be with you tomorrow in Washington, DC I hope to return to Washington DC as soon as I can. Meanwhile, they know that I am eternally grateful for your unconditional support,” said the Colombian in a statement.
Shakira sent another statement in which he expressed how he felt after the cancellation of his concerts in Boston and Washington and thanked the support of his fans.
“Nothing is more painful for an artist than having to cancel concerts with full stadiums, as in Boston and Washington, for reasons beyond the control of one. We have browsed together for every bump of the road and you have always taken me to the other side. I want you with everything,” the Colombian wrote.
