A few hours from the Shakira concert in the Alami de San Antonio, Texas, of “Women do not cry Tour”, was canceled for technical reasons outside her.
The Colombian singer reported through her social networks that a structural failure in the armor provided by an external company (responsible for the stage support and the roof that holds part of her production) forced her to suspend the presentation scheduled for the night of June 13.
“With great sadness I must share that we are forced to reprogram the show tonight,” said the artist, who explained that her tours depend on local companies responsible for assembling the infrastructure that allows the development of the show. “The security of my team, from the public and mine is the most important thing,” he added.
This is not the first incident related to the structure of the stage. Shakira mentioned that he had already faced a similar problem in Boston, which led her to intervene personally to demand a thorough review.
He even met directly with the company and requested the incorporation of a new team of engineers. Although they guaranteed that everything was reinforced and under control, now a new setback arises.
“I am devastated, with a broken heart for not being able to sing for you tonight in San Antonio,” he wrote.
The Barranquillera said that the concerts will continue their normal course from Monday in Houston, and that her team is already working to reage the pending date in San Antonio as soon as possible, provided that logistics conditions allow it.
