The New Diary, Texas. – The Colombian singer Shakira canceled last minute her concert scheduled for the night of June 13 at the San Antonio Stadium in San Antonio, Texas, due to structural problems on stage.
Minutes before the event, the artist shared on her Instagram account an image that showed part of the broken stage infrastructure, accompanied by a statement explaining the situation.
“For each presentation, we depend on local suppliers that install the infrastructure necessary to sustain the scenario and production. With much regret, they informed me that an armor provided by this company presents a structural failure, so we are forced to reschedule the show with exhausted tickets in San Antonio,” Shakira said.
Affected by cancellation, the interpreter of women no longer cries was moved: “I am here, devastated and with my heart broken. Not being able to introduce me tonight deeply hurts me and my fans in San Antonio.”
Shakira said that his tour will continue with the show scheduled in Houston next Monday, adding that he is already working to reprogram the date in San Antonio in the next few days.
