This was announced by the interpreter through an emotional message posted on her official Instagram profile.

“It saddens me to inform you of what they have told me: that due to a structural problem with a crowd provided by this external company to hold my scenario, we are forced to reprogram my concert in San Antonio,” the singer wrote in one of her stories on Instagram, qualifying the situation as “devastating” for her and her fans.
Shakira explained that the technical production of its shows depends on an external company responsible for providing the local infrastructure for each city. Precisely, after an previous incident in Boston with a similar structure, the singer said she had personally demanded the incorporation of a new team of engineers, in addition to a complete reassessment of the technical components.

“Although the company’s experts personally promised me that they had reinforced the structure and guaranteed me 100 % the safety and reliability of the show, today they tell me something else,” he said in his message.
The concert, which already had completely exhausted ticket office, had to be held on the night of June 13. However, for security reasons, the presentation will be rescheduled, although the new date has not yet been announced.

Shakira, who currently travels the United States with his tour, said the concerts scheduled for Houston will start Monday as planned. “I am here trying to find a solution to be able to reprogram this show in San Antonio for the next few days,” said the artist, who is in the city with her production team.
