Shakira Concert reprogram in Los Angeles for protests

Shakira reprogram your concert in Los Angeles due to protests against ICE migratory raids.

Shakira has decided to postpone his concert at the Sofi Stadium in Los Angeles, which was originally scheduled for June 20, rescheduing him for August 4.

This decision is due to the ongoing manifestations against the mass migratory raids led by the Migration and Customs Control Service (ICE), as announced in the Tour’s account entitled “Women no longer cry”.

The organizers of the event indicated that, with the reprogramming of the concert, which had already sold all its entries, there is the possibility of adding a second date.

This postponement adds to the multiple cancellations and reprogramming of the concerts of the Colombian artist. The most recent occurred on May 31 in Washington, when the production of the tour could not be transported in time from Boston, where another concert scheduled for May 29 was also canceled.

The tour had already begun with difficulties months before, since the dates planned between November and December 2024 in the United States and Canada had to be rescheduled by 2025 due to the high demand for tickets and the decision to change the headquarters of the concerts.

In an interview published by the BBC this Friday, the singer expressed her discontent with the country’s immigration policy, stating that being a migrant in the United States “means living with constant fear,” said Shakira.

The Colombian also called for unity: “We have to raise their voice and make it very clear that a country can change their migratory policies, but the treatment of all people must always be human,” he told the environment.
