Shakira de ‘I my name’ denounced Maluma’s imitator for fraud

What began as a camaraderie relationship between two artists who shared the stage in the television program ‘I called myself’, ended in an economic dispute that has already taken a judicial course. Andrea Correa, known for her imitation of Shakira in the contest, accuses her former partner Klismann Moncada, imitator of Maluma, of having appropriated a sum of money she delivered with the intention of investing.
In statements to the ‘La Red’ program, by Caracol Televisión, Correa said that the conflict arose at the beginning of 2025, when he returned to Colombia and resumed contact with Moncada. In a friendly conversation, he told him his interest in allocating part of his savings to an investment that would generate additional income. It was then that Moncada presented him with an alleged financial opportunity.
“He explained to me that the more money he put, the greater the percentage of daily gain,” Correa told the middle. Although at first he thought about investing 40 million pesos, he ended up delivering only 20 million.
However, according to its version, Moncada insisted that this amount was not enough to activate the investment and asked for another 15 million, which aroused in it suspected about the reliability of the business.
The artist says that, when asking for the return of the money, she received evasive from the imitator: “She began to tell me that I had problems with her account, that I could not get money or make transfers. In addition, I no longer spoke to me as before and began to travel a lot,” he said.
Accessed by ‘La Red’, Klismann Moncada acknowledged having used part of the resources, although he said it was not with the intention of cheating. As he explained, he went through a difficult personal situation related to his mother’s health.
“My mother was very bad health. I went into despair and used part of that money. I recognize that I was wrong to say nothing, but I didn’t know how to handle what I was living at that time,” he said.
The case has caused a definitive distancing between both imitators, who at the time shared a close friendship forged in the halls of the program. Beyond the personal deterioration, the dispute has taken a legal course.
Correa claims not to have received any return, although Moncada says he has made payments through her manager, and showed what would be proof of such transactions.
However, the imitator argues that she has not received any fertilizer, and that she currently does not have a formal contract that supports the agreement between them, which complicates any legal action. In addition, her condition as non -resident in Colombia at this time represents an additional obstacle to her.
Until now, a formal criminal complaint has not been established, but Correa does not rule out going to the authorities if he does not obtain a solution.
