Shakira postpone concert in Los Angeles in the midst of migratory raids and demonstrations

The second part of the American tour of Shakira has not started precisely with the right foot. After the singer canceled her presentation last Friday in San Antonio, Texas, due to what she announced as a structural damage on the stage she uses, the expected plan planned in Los Angeles will stop performing, at least for the moment.

The interesting thing is that Colombian’s social networks have not published anything about the important postponement; Those who released the fact were those in charge of Ticketmaster, apparently through an anonymous message that was sent to those who had already bought their tickets.

Right now, the company’s official site mentions the updated date of the show, which will cease to be on June 20, as planned, to move to August 4 on the same stage, the Sofi Stadium. It must be remembered that the author of “Barefoot” had already canceled a presentation here, that of the Kiss me a lot, which was probably direct cause for the cancellation of the full event.

“We have worked with the organizers of the event to reage your event and be sure that you will still have the possibility to attend. Your tickets are still valid for the new date,” says the message sent by the company.

The same text does not mention the reasons of the cancellation, which, initially, could be awarded to the lack of solution for the stage of the stage, but that makes no sense in those terms in view of the fact that the previous seven concerts are still standing.

There is no other option to imagine that this has occurred as a reaction of fear of protests against the mass arrests perpetrated by immigration agents in southern California, which have not even been mentioned by the singer in the same networks, despite the fact that the United States Latin audience constitutes an essential part of its success. After all, everything seems to indicate that some women no longer cry, but remain silent.
