Shakira postponed concert in Los Angeles for protests against ICE

The decision is due to the ongoing manifestations against the massive migration raids led by the Immigration and Customs Control Service (ICE), as announced in the Tour account of the Tour that is named ‘Women no longer cry’.

In the same statement, the organizers of the event indicated that, with the reprogramming of the concert, which had a total sale of its tickets, there is the possibility of announcing a second date.

This postponement adds to the multiple cancellations and reprogramming of the Colombian concerts, the most recent, took place on May 31 in Washington, after the production of the Shakira tour could not be transported in time from the city of Boston, where another concert scheduled for May 29 was canceled.

Shakira criticizes migratory policies in the USA.

The tour began with bad foot months before, since the dates programmed between November and December 2024 in the United States and Canada had to reschedule by 2025 for the high demand for tickets and the organizers’ decision to change the headquarters of the concerts.

In an interview published by the BBC this Friday, the singer expressed her dissatisfaction with the country’s immigration policy, and said that she is currently immigrant in the US. “It means living with constant fear,” Shakira said.
