Shakira has announced that Alejandro Sanz He will be the special guest in the first concert of his tour of the United States and Canada, entitled “Women no longer cry World Tour”. The inaugural event will take place on May 13 at the Bank of America Stadium in Charlotte, North Carolina. Both artists will interpret their 2005 success, “La Tortura”, commemorating the 20 years of its launch.
In an Instagram story, Shakira said: “I’m going to have several of my friends and colleagues accompanying me. They don’t guess who will be giving me luck in my first concert in Charlotte on May 13: Alejandro Sanz.”
Alejandro Sanz responded on his social networks: “I couldn’t miss. You don’t know the desire I have to get on a stage with you and enjoy. So see you in Charlotte, also your first concert on the United States tour, what else can I ask for? I love you, I send you a little kiss.”
The “Women no longer cry World Tour” tour includes 23 concerts in USA and Canada During May and June 2025, with stops in cities such as East Rutherford, Montreal, Detroit, Chicago, Toronto and Boston.
In addition to Alejandro Sanz, Shakira has confirmed the participation of other invited artists on his tour, including Pitbull, Carlos Vives, Will.i.am And possibly Rauw Alejandro.
