A group of Colombian artists, which included singers Shakira, Maluma and J Balvin, were present at the MET gala, the most important fashionable annual event in the world.
Maluma wore a emerald suit designed by Willy Chavarríawhich was inspired by the Pachuco style, characteristic of the young Mexico of the 30s and 40s, according to the Caras entertainment magazine.
For its part, J Balvin wore a rose suit with a hat designed by Marc Jacobswhich stood out for its elegance and originality. “Thank you for the opportunity to be chosen for a man’s suit that you did not do more than 10 years ago for Met. Thank you for opening the way for new designers and contributing so much to culture,” the singer wrote on her social networks.
In addition, Shakira arrived at the Met gala carpet wearing a completely pink design by Prabal Gurungwhich highlighted his figure and personality.
The presence of Colombian artists in the prestigious event left the country’s talent on top and, to celebrate it, they shared a selfie on social networks in which they proudly posed.
