Social networks harshly criticize Katy Perry’s concerts in Mexico

Katy Perry’s initial concerts in Mexico have not had the success that was expected, or in box office matters, or among formal and informal critics on social networks, where hard comments have been expressed on their performance on the scenario of the ‘Lifesta’ tour.
The videos that have spread on the networks, about the beginning of the tour in Mexico, show a strange stage design, choreographies of the songs and their themes, and an artist with difficulties in transmitting with their movements a professional and cohesive story. But in addition, the images denounce what had been commenting for days: there were many empty seats, although there were talk of exhausted tickets.
This avalanche of criticism occurs after the disastrous result, not only in numbers of its previous album, but in intention, musical quality and even production. In addition, Perry was very questioned for his participation in the Blue Origin flight, by the owner of Amazon Jeff Bezos.
A tour that disappoints
The artist’s fans in the stadiums and in the networks have criticized the choreographies of their presentation, and even their movements when dance, which have described with words as strong as “inept”, “without elegance”, “fractured” and much more.
“Please, retire with elegance. Don’t do that.”

“Katy Perry has become a fucking joke.”
“The worst part is that she is trying to be a comic, but she is giving others sorry for camp-Too many failures. He has lost all his credibility. “
The Worst Part About This is that She’s trying to be funny and She’s Leaning into the Cringe, But Sumhow, Even If She’s “In” on The Joke, She Becomes The Joke. It’s so sad. She’s Doesn’t Have The Ability to Be Camp – Too Many Fleps. Lost All Her Cream. pic.twitter.com/sadkbzudjl

Ticket sales struggle to meet the projections
The tour arrives in the United States on May 7 in Houston. Ticketmaster seat maps indicate dozens of without selling locations in cities that range from Minneapolis to Denver and Oklahoma City. There are also thousands of resale tickets, some VIP packages sold for more than $ 1,000.
“There were already concerns about the low ticket sale even before Blue Origin,” a source told Daily Mail. “Katy really believed that his tour would succeed like Taylor’s.”
Two concerts were canceled after the enclosure in Guadalajara, Mexico, where they were going to be presented on May 1 and 2, was delayed with renovations. “I wish I could fix this, but she is out of my control,” said “Dark Horse”, and assured her fans that she would do something special for them.
However, although some rooms still have exhausted tickets, others are close to exhausting them, such as Chicago and some Canadian cities. Additional dates in Europe and Australia were also added due to high international demand.
The space mission generates controversy
The controversy intensified after Perry’s recent participation with Blue Origin in the historic exclusively feminine mission of the company. Perry sang on board during the 11 -minute flight, touching the ground shortly after landing.
“It’s not about singing my songs. This is a collective energy that is inside,” he said in an interview after flight. “It’s about creating space for women of the future, of occupying space and belonging … all this is for the good of the earth.”
The moment was criticized online as “deaf” and “dramatic”, especially because it happened just a few days after two NASA astronauts returned home after a nine -month space mission.
“He regrets having made him a public show,” said a source. “He thought it would be a good advertising for his tour.”
Perry also approached the negative reactions during his show in Mexico City and asked his fans: “Has anyone ever called your dreams crazy?”
