Taylor Swift achieves restriction order against an alleged stalker

Miami.- The superstar of music Taylor Swift He obtained one departure order temporary in a court of Los Angelesseeking protection against an individual who, according to judicial documents, has been harassing her and making false statements about a personal relationship with her.
The precautionary measure was granted on Monday, June 9, 2025, after Taylor Swift expressed a fear of imminent damage.
The man identified as Brian Jason Wagner, 45, originally from Colorado, supposedly began to appear in Swift’s private residence in July 2024.
Among some of the acts that man has done, it was revealed that he tried to register his driver’s license with the Swift address. He also wanted to divert Swift’s mail towards his name, a clear attempt to appropriate his private correspondence. And, he would have sent hundreds of emails with threatening and inappropriate content to members of the artist’s team.
His behavior climbed with repeated visits, including two consecutive incidents on May 21 and 22 of this year, which led Swift to seek judicial intervention.

In her affidavit of June 6, the singer detailed the statements disconnected from the reality made by Wagner, who allegedly said she lived on her property, maintained a romantic relationship with her and even that Swift was the mother of her son. All this was categorically denied by the artist.
The court order requires Wagner to maintain a minimum distance of 100 yards (91 meters) of Taylor Swift, his residence, workplace and vehicle.
It also prohibits any form of contact, direct or indirect. This protection measure will be active to a scheduled audience for June 30, where the possibility of extending the restriction order will be evaluated.
