Taylor Swift celebrates recovery of rights of your recordings

This achievement comes after years of efforts by the artist to claim the creative and commercial control of her music.
Swift, known for its defense of artists’ rights, will soon relaunch these recordings under their own seal, which will allow you to have full control over its distribution, licenses and future reissues.
The affected albums include their successful works “Taylor Swift” (2006), “Fearless” (2008), “Speak Now” (2010), “Red” (2012), “1989” (2014) and “Reputation” (2017).
The Master’s Rights dispute of Swift’s recordings began in 2019 when the manager Scooter Braun acquired, through his company, Big Machine Records catalog, including Swift’s original recordings.
The artist described this transaction at the time as an attempt to “undermine her artistic legacy.” Since then, Swift has relaunched re -recorded versions of its albums under the name “Taylor’s version”, and obtained unprecedented commercial and critical success.
“This is an incredibly rewarding moment for me, not only as an artist, but as someone who believes in the importance of possessing and protecting his creative work,” Swift said in his social networks.
«I thank my fans for their unconditional support in this battle. What is coming will be even more exciting, ”he said.
With the recovery of these rights, Swift plans to continue promoting its “Taylor’s version” while exploring new opportunities for its original catalog.
The news has been celebrated by fans and colleagues in the industry, reinforcing its role as a leader in the struggle for artistic property.
