Taylor Swift could buy your musical catalog

Taylor Swift would finally have the opportunity to buy the original recordings of his first six studio albums and one of the least expected people could be the one who is promoting the transaction.

According to the American media Page Six, the current owners of Swift’s original catalog, Shamrock Capital, would be considering selling it back to the singer after anyone else and no one less than Scooter Braun tried to convince them to do so.

Braun’s motivations are not entirely clear, especially considering that it was he who sold the recordings to Shamrock, although many fans say it is an attempt by the businessman to clean his image and try to make a truce with Swift.

So far, none of Taylor Swift or Shamrock Capital’s representatives have spoken about it, but if it is true, it is expected to be kept secret to the agreement to be a reality.

If so, the albums that would be back with their original creator would be: ‘Taylor Swift’, ‘Fearless’,’ Speak Now ‘,’ Red ‘,’ 1989 ′ and ‘reputation’. Page Six states that Shamrock would sell these recordings to Swift for a value of 600 million dollars, compared to the billion that initially cost.

Although it is something exciting, many fans consider that perhaps it is not necessary, taking into account the success of Swift’s regrabations, titled Taylor’s Version, and the anticipation of the only two that are missing.
