Taylor Swift gets a restraining order against an alleged stalker who stalked her at her home in Los Angeles

Taylor Swift has achieved a temporary restraining order against Brian Jason Wagner, an alleged 45 -year -old stalker who would have visited the singer’s home in Los Angeles several times during the last year. This man, who would also have claimed to have a son with Swift, must maintain a distance of at least 91 meters from the artist, as ordered by Judge Debra R. Archuleta.
“During each of these visits, I have been informed that Mr. Wagner made several statements about living in my property (it is not true), having a relationship with me (it is not true), believing that I am the mother of her son (not true) and need to see me in person, all of which is false and disconnected from reality,” said Taylor Swift, as the half Billboard collects.
After Wagner’s first appearance at the composer’s house in July 2024, the man allegedly returned with a glass bottle that, according to Swift statements, “could have been used as a weapon.” The report also includes other supposed actions such as an illegal identification that linked Wagner with the singer and the attempt to collect his mail. Taylor Swift points out that these visits have feared her for her safety and that of her family.

This is not the first time that Taylor Swift has to face an alleged stalker. Already in 2017, Mohammed Jaffar, 29, ended up being admitted to a New York psychiatric center after having entered the Tribeca Swift building and after making dozens of calls to the Swift representation agency. Also, the artist denounced in her documentary Miss American (2019) that several stalkers invaded their intimacy by entering their home and living in it for days.
Despite this, the artist has reasons to be celebrated. Last week he announced that he had managed to own her music after numerous years trying to get the rights of her first six albums, initially published with the Big Machine Records record and subsequently sold to the manager of artists Scooter Braun. Since Big Machine Records did not sell her the rights to her music, the artist began a whole re -region project that has been a resounding success and that has allowed her to devalue her old albums and thus be able to buy them.
Since the artist ended her blockbuster tour The Eras Tour In December of last year, the star has chosen to disappear from the media focus and make very few public appearances, among which the Grammy and the Super Bowl of the month of February stand out. Since then, little has been known as Swift in musical terms, a drought that will end when the singer announced her twelfth study album.
