Taylor Swift was summoned as a witness by Justin Baldoni’s lawyer Bryan Freedman, this Friday, May 9, TMZ reported.
Swift representatives have declared that citation is a media tactic to generate attention.
His only connection with the movie is the song My Tears Ricochet, part of the soundtrack, and his close friendship with Lively.
“Taylor was never on the shooting set of this film, he did not participate in any creative decision or casting, he did not compose the soundtrack, never saw any edition or took notes on it, he did not even see ‘it ends with us’ until weeks after its premiere, and was traveling throughout the world for 2023 and 2024 leading the greatest tour of the story. In legal documents, Baldoni alleges that Lively used his relationship with Swift to press it during a meeting in New York, where Swift and Reynolds allegedly praised a script rewritten by Lively.
In addition, a text message from Lively to Baldoni describes it as “Khaleesi” with “Dragones”, in apparent reference to Swift and other allies.
The legal conflict between Blake Lively and Justin Baldoni, co -star of the movie It Ends with Us (break the circle), began at the end of 2024, when Lively denounced Baldoni for sexual harassment and inappropriate behaviors during filming.
