Taylor Swift has his master recordings ‘despite Scooter Braun’

Taylor Swift has his master recordings ‘despite Scooter Braun’.

The 35 -year -old singer and songwriter revealed in an emotional open letter to her fans on her website that had recently repurchased the rights of her first six albums, which Braun acquired from her former record label, Big Machine Records, in 2019.

In 2020, Braun went on to sell them to the private capital firm Shamrock Capital and, although it was recently stated that the musical manager “encouraged” Shamrock Capital to make a deal with Taylor, was not involved in the recent acquisition.

A source told People magazine: “Contrary to a false previous report, there was no external part that ‘encouraged’ this sale. All legitimate credit for this opportunity must go to the members of Shamrock capital and the Taylor management team based in Nashville only. Taylor is now the owner of all his music, and this moment has finally occurred despite Scooter Braun, not thanks to him.”

After Scooter bought the rights of his music, Taylor decided to re -record his previous albums, calling them ‘Taylor’s version’.

And, he revealed in his message to the fans that the enormous success of his ‘Eras’ tour and the new versions of his albums, actually helped her back to buy her music.

He wrote: “Saying that this is my biggest dream come true is to be very reserved in this regard. My fans know how important this has been for me, to the point that I have re -recorded and published four of my albums, which I have called Taylor’s version. The passionate support that shows those albums and the success story in which they have turned ‘The Eras Tour’ is the reason I could buy my music. I cannot thank you enough to help me to gather with this art that I have dedicated my life, but I have never possessed so far. respectful.
