The American singer Taylor Swift made a surprise visit to Joe Dimaggio Children’s Hospital in Hollywood, Florida, on Thursday, June 13, 2025, one day after attending the fourth game of the Stanley Cup final between the Florida Panthers and the Edmonton Oilers, held in Sunrise, to the south of the state.
During his stay at the Pediatric Hospital, which is part of the Healthcare memorial system and specializes in child care, Swift greeted patients, family and medical staff. He traveled several areas of the center, stopping to talk briefly with some minors and their families. In Videos shared in Tiktok for those who were present, he is heard saying: “This has been an incredible day” while interacting with a child, and in another clip he tells a little one: “I like your hair, it’s very great.”
For the occasion, the artist wore a green sage dress and Beige sandals. Parents of the patients took the opportunity to take pictures with Taylor and share them on social networks. In an X (formerly Twitter) post, a mother shared an image of her son in her arms next to Swift, writing: “Literally crying because they look who knew Judah in the hospital before her transfusion @taylorswift. The only time I lack an appointment.”
Dr. Jill Whitehouse, head of hospital surgery, also published a photo with the singer on Instagram, qualifying the visit as a significant day for hospitalized children.
