Taylor Swift obtains a restriction order against stalker

Taylor Swift obtained a temporary restriction order against Brian Jason Wagner, a 45 -year -old man from Colorado, who has allegedly harassed her in her Los Angeles residence.

“I have no relationship with Mr. Wagner and I have never met or communicated with him. There is no legitimate reason to try to contact me or my staff, approach my house or make statements that he lives there,” Swift said in a formal statement presented together with the request for a temporary restriction order in Los Angeles.

According to reports, Wagner visited Swift’s house several times since July 2024, falsely stating that he shares a child with her and that they have a romantic relationship.

In addition, he would have illegally obtained an identification with the Swift address, trying to collect his email and sent “hundreds” of emails threatening to his team.

Blank Space interpreter said that thanks to the investigations of her security team, they realized that the man had a criminal record.

He assured that he was then alerted that he had been sending extensive communications from the prison, which, according to her, were mostly invented stories about her participation in her private life.

Swift expressed fear for his safety and that of his family, which led to the presentation of the order on Friday, June 6, 2025.

“I do not publicly share my place of residence and I have never shared my direction or the location of my residence in Los Angeles with Mr. Wagner. Therefore, the fact that Mr. Wagner has determined where he resided and visited the property several times, refusing to leave and claim that he needs access, it makes me fear for my safety and that of my family,” said the singer.

The restriction, which prohibits Wagner from approaching the house, workplaces or Swift vehicles, will be in force until June 30, 2025.
