The care of elders, patients, workers and children focuses the program of the IV Interreligious Conference in Córdoba

The IV Interreligious Conference ‘Spirit of Córdoba’, which will be held in the capital of Cordoba on February 11, will focus on this occasion on the ‘care of human life’ and, in this sense, the program provides that representatives of the Four convening confessions (Catholics, Muslims, Jews and evangelicals) analyze in detail aspects related to the care of the elderly, of the sick, of those in need and the workers, and of the children and young people.
This is collected by the program of the meeting, consulted by Europa Press, and which is divided into four blocks: ‘spirituality, major and care’, ‘spirituality and care of the patient’, ‘Spirituality and socio-labor care’ and ‘spirituality and care of childhood and youth ‘.
The first block will have the participation as speakers of Patricia Carles Grassin, Debora López, Ana Sierra Gámez and Joseph Salama; the second with Dunia Ammar Chaib, Carmen Lara, Enrique Aranda Aguilar and Sara Chocron; The third with Francisca del Carmen Sánchez García, Esteban Buch Sánchez, Iván de Arteaga del Alcázar and Daniela Shalom, and the fourth block with Jalid Nieto, Ángel Martínez Rodríguez, María Amor Martín Fernández and Ary Mesyngier.
The Córdoba Congresses Palace, next to the Mosque-Catedral will be the scenario in which the presentations, round tables and cultural activities that make up the program of this meeting will take place, which seeks to strengthen the role of Cordoba as a city of understanding and coexistence .
The IV Interreligious Days ‘Spirit of Cordoba’, dynaminated by the Cordoba Congresses Palace itself, are organized by the Diocese of Córdoba, the Islamic Board of Spain, the Federation of Jewish Communities of Spain (FCJE) and the Federation of Religious Entities Evangelicals of Spain (Fered).
Under the aforementioned motto of ‘care of human life’, the event will bring together representatives of different religious confessions to “dialogue about the role of spirituality and cooperation in the preservation of life.”
The meeting will take place, for the fourth consecutive year in Córdoba, by assessing the “integrative and plural spirit” of this Andalusian city, “historically recognized as a bridge between cultures”, which serves the objective of the IV Interreligious Days, which seek to be ” A space for reflection and encounter, where the ethical, social and spiritual challenges related to the care of human life will be addressed from different perspectives.
