MYSTERIES

The Day of Mystery focuses this year on the devil and UFOs

On February 1, Talavera will be the host city of a new Day of Mystery organized by the Ocultura Talavera association and which, in its sixth edition, will bring new stories from the world of the paranormal and the occult to the public. The Councilor for Culture, Enrique Etayo, and the Councilor for Tourism, Gelen Delgado, have presented this new edition, accompanied by the president of the Talavera Oculture Association, Josete Flores, and by Miguel Ángel León, representative of ASEM Castilla-La Mancha, beneficiary of the collection of this initiative since its origins.

In this edition, the event changes scene and moves to the Victoria Theatre, expanding its capacity to reach a larger audience, given the success of previous events, as highlighted by the organization.

This time, again, the first of the presentations, at 11:00 a.m., will come from the hand of a Talavera native, on this occasion by Juan Carlos Albarrán, ceramist and one of the founders of the Talavera Ceramic Center, who will address the figure of the devil and the bestiary present in Talavera ceramics.

At 12:00 p.m., the illustrator and folklore specialist Javier Prado will present his knowledge about the history of the haunted houses in Spain, especially in the 19th century.

An hour later, the artist and popularizer Sére Skuld, specialist in magic and beliefs and responsible for the podcast ‘Mysteries and Cubatas’, will be responsible for ending the morning session with the most unknown and dark side of the world of dreams.

After the break, at 5:00 p.m., the journalist and writer Lorenzo Fernández Bueno, director of the radio program ‘El Colegio Invisible’ and television series such as ‘Extraterrestres’, will address the topic of the eternal search for immortality.

At 6:00 p.m. it will be the turn of journalist Josep Guijarro (‘La Rosa de los Vientos’ and ‘El Colegio Invisible’), specialists in the UFO phenomenon, who will try to answer historical enigmas about the visit of alien beings from the most remote antiquity. .

The closing this year will come from the team of the program ‘El Colegio Invisible’, directed by Lorenzo Fernández Bueno and Laura Falcó, who will record one of their programs from this day, with the participation of some of their collaborators, as is the case by Josep Guijarro, Juan José Sánchez-Oro and Jesús Ortega.

Tickets to attend this edition, priced at 10 euros and which will be in full for ASEM-CLM, can be purchased in advance through evenbrite.es or physically at Librería La Ocultura.
