The Jennifer López Torrejonera is proclaimed champion of Spain from Clubs in Petanca and adds its 13th national gold

The Jennifer López Torrejonera continues to consolidate as one of the big names of the female petanca in Spain. Last weekend, from May 16 to 18, he was proclaimed Champion of Spain of Clubs in the triplet mode, in the tournament played in Alcoy (Alicante). With this title, it already adds 13 national golds, which makes it the most laureate player in the history of this sport in our country.

On this occasion, López competed representing the Petanca Alpha club, forming a team with Yolanda Matarranz, María José Díaz and Marta de los Reyes, imposing himself on the best players on the national landscape in a high -level competition.

At 35, Jennifer López accumulates an enviable record, with titles in various modalities: individual, duplete, triplet, by clubs and by autonomous communities. His domain also extends to the international level, with two medals achieved in the 2022 European Championship in Holland: a mixed duplete silver and a bronze in female duplet.

His career has been recognized by various sports institutions. In 2023, she was distinguished as “best athlete of the year” by the Madrid Federation of Petanca, after leading the annual ranking and conquering five national medals, three of them gold.

The mayor of Torrejón de Ardoz, Alejandro Navarro Prieto, congratulated the athlete after his new success: “Congratulations on this new Spanish championship. You are one of the best athletes in our city and the most laureate, which makes us very proud of you.”

With this new title, Jennifer López not only reaffirms her hegemony in the female petanca, but remains a reference for Torrejonero sport and an example of constancy and excellence for future generations.
