Queen Letizia wore a spectacular Valentino white dress last October, at the delivery of the 2022-2023 National Culture Awards, and no one knew the origin of that design until now. The secret has been revealed by the royal fashion website ‘UFO No More’, where they have published an image of Doña Sofía with the same dress before her daughter-in-law customized it. It is not the first time that the Queen searches her mother-in-law’s closet to recycle a garment, but in this case it has been more difficult to realize.

It was in October of last year when the Kings presided over the National Culture Awards, and Doña Letizia dazzled with her look. It is a midi-length white dress, round neck and short sleeves in floral guipure, made of white crepe. Don Felipe’s wife gave a touch of light with accessories, an envelope-type handbag and some low-heeled slingback pumps, from the Magrit brand, made of silver leather. The Queen wore earrings that have also become a mysterysince it is not known which firm is behind its creation.
