THE MYSTERY OF THE VALUIOUS BOTTLES OF RIOJA HUNDRED DISAPPEARED AFTER THE GOYA DE GRANADA

The Regulatory Council of the Denomination of Qualified Origin Rioja has claimed citizen collaboration to recover two “special” Rioja Centenary Edition that disappeared after the Goya Awards gala, held this Saturday in Granada. Both are signed by many actors, actresses, directors and directors who starred in the Spanish cinema gala.

These are two bottles of large -format Rioja wine, special edition by the centenary of the denomination -which is commemorated this 2025 -, with a very special labeling. It is a golden label, with the Rioja brand doing the form of one hundred, indicating ‘since 1925’ and the capsule of lacones also in golden color.

In addition, both are signed by many actors, actresses, directors and directors who starred in the Goya 2025 and approached the space that Rioja enabled as sponsor of the gala.

From the Regulatory Council they have stressed that they are “very special”, not so much for the econic loss, but for their meaning by having the firms, among others, by Alejandro Amenábar, Belén Rueda, Carolina Yuste, Juana Acosta, Jorge Drexler, Cayetana Guillén Cuervo or Miguel Bernardeu.

All of them are “Spanish cinema stars” that passed through Rioja’s space during the Goya gala, many of them “friends of Rioja”, because either they have visited the denomination or have even been “ambassadors” of it.

The Regulatory Council has indicated that the bottles “wanted to expose them at the headquarters, in a year in which many people will pass through the denomination, invited to many of the events that we have planned this year by the centenary.” In fact, they have also added that “we had considered auctioning one of the bottles for beneficial purposes.”
