The Philadelphia Campus offers spiritual tourism with a scientific basis
Oriented towards scientific and spiritual tourism, the Spiritual Science and Technology Center was inaugurated on the Campo Ramon Philadelphia Campus. The inauguration took place last January 11 and was attended by municipal, religious authorities and the general public. The property offers an experience designed to combine scientific knowledge with religiosity.
Under the hypothesis that everything visible was created by God, this center offers 11 workshops dedicated to a specialty of scientific knowledge. Among the proposals are laboratories for microscopy, biology, chemistry, electricity and magnetism, electronics, optics, acoustics and frequency, meteorology, astronomy and radio astronomy. In addition, there are drawing and painting sessions aimed at the expression of the participants.
The campus functions as a training and catering center where activities such as camps and walks are carried out. The property has a shelter for 60 people, divided into men and women. In addition, there are single bedrooms for 24 people. The center has a park of native trees surrounded by nature with five water springs and a mangrove. In turn, the campus has sports areas, playgrounds, fields, prayer mountains and an amphitheater with a capacity for four hundred people.
Since its inauguration to date, all kinds of events and activities have been held, such as a camp that ended this weekend. In the same way, the Center works with groups of evangelical Scout children. During the year, the service of guided tours and camps will be offered to educational institutions in the province.
In conversations with canal12misiones.com, Alejandra Marcela Brizuela, in charge of the spiritual tourism area of the Philadelphia Campus, explained what the purpose of this center is. “The Philadelphia Campus is a space that promotes the study of the Bible through science. From the axiom that everything that is visible was created by God, we propose an approach to spirituality from the concrete. Within our tasks we provide assistance and support to people who, due to their life history, encounter addiction problems of some kind.”
For this Tuesday, January 21, the Philadelphia Campus will carry out a guided tour with astronomical observation. On this visit, participants will be able to observe a unique phenomenon of its kind such as the alignment of six planets. The activity is carried out by reservation between the hours of 8:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. or from 9:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m. It remains to be determined at what time the activity will take place and in case of cloudy skies the visit is suspended. The walk includes three stations: the alignment of the planets that can be seen with the naked eye on the compass rose. The second is an astronomy class in the temple and the third is the observatory. You can take advantage of the terrace to see the sky. Those interested in participating in this walk should call 3755 56-8003. The entrance fee is 3000 pesos.
On the other hand, this coming weekend the Kids Camp will be held for children from 6 to 12 years old. This camp will be held on January 24 and 25, proposing two days of learning and fun. In this proposal, participants will be able to enjoy workshops, theater, arts and recreational activities with access to the pool.
