The bishop emeritus of Huelva, Monsignor José Vilaplana, will offer this Thursday, January 16, a conference on “The Prayer of Jesus”, within the cycle organized by the Secretariat of Spirituality of the Archbishopric of Valencia.
On this occasion, unlike the rest of the course sessions, the conference will take place on a Thursday. “Monsignor Vilaplana was scheduled to inaugurate the cycle with this presentation on October 30, but it had to be canceled due to the DANA that affected our diocese,” the secretariat points out.
The presentation will take place in the assembly hall on Calle Avellanas, 12, in Valencia, from 6:30 p.m. to 8 p.m. and will also be broadcast live through the Archbishopric’s YouTube channel (https://www.youtube.com /@archivevalence/streams).
The fundamental objective of this course is to deepen the Hope and joy of Jubilee 2025, according to the Secretariat of Spirituality. The conferences will cover a suggestive and broad agenda, which will highlight different aspects of prayer and an in-depth look at the Jubilee.
