They defend Taylor Swift and Springsteen of Trump’s insults

The United States Musicians’ Federation came out in defense of Taylor Swift and Bruce Springsteen after President Donald Trump insults them on social networks.
Trump called Bruce Springsteen “arrogant arrogant” after the musician criticized his government during a concert in the United Kingdom, calling him “corrupt, incompetent and traitorous.”
“This dry rocker (he has stunted skin!) He should keep his mouth closed until he returns to the country; that’s normal. Then we’ll see what happens to him!” Trump said, in a threatening tone, in a message on social networks.
Trump also referred to Taylor Swift, saying that “it is no longer popular” after expressing her hatred towards her on social networks.
“Has anyone realized that since I said ‘I hate Taylor Swift’, she is no longer ‘popular’?”, Said the president.
The president of the Federation, Tino Gagliard, said Springsteen and Swift are artists who inspire millions of people.
“Bruce Springsteen and Taylor Swift are not only brilliant musicians, but also models to follow and inspiration for millions of people in the United States and worldwide,” said guild president Tino Gagliard, in a statement.
Gagliard stressed the importance of freedom of expression for musicians and expressed solidarity with both artists.
“His music is lasting, shocking and has a deep cultural meaning. Musicians have the right to freedom of expression, and we sympathize with all our members,” he added.
Both Taylor Swift and Bruce Springsteen supported the Democrats in the 2024 presidential elections, which were won by Trump.
