They demand Jennifer Lopez for publishing paparazzi photos without permission

Mexico City.- Jennifer Lopez Face two demands for alleged copyright violation, after publishing on their social networks two photographs taken by paparazzi without having paid for the license of the images, Billboard reported.
The demands were filed on Saturday, May 17 by the photographer Blanco Edwin and the Backgrid agency USA, who alleged being co -owners of the images captured outside the party prior to the Golden Globes on January 4, in the exclusive Marmont Bar in Los Angeles.
According to lawyer Peter Perkowski, representative of White and backgrid, Lopez published the photos in his Instagram and X accounts on January 5 without authorization, which caused a wide diffusion by pages of fans and fashion marks, including the synthetic skin shelter designer that the singer and actress carried.

That case was withdrawn in 2020, warning him about the legal consequences and that his recidivism shows “intentional contempt” towards copyright.
White and Backgrid now seek compensation of up to 150 thousand dollars for each image, under the terms of the Federal Copyright Law.
So far, Jennifer Lopez representatives They have not issued comments on the case.
