On the day of the finding, Westerly police received a call alerting about what seemed to be human remains in Everett Avenue, in the neighborhood of Watch Hill. Upon arriving at the place, which is only 500 meters from Swift’s house, the agents found what seemed to be a human leg bone. These remains were transferred to the forensic authorities for analysis.

Taylor Day, a Westerly resident, passed by the place just when the officers arrived. “It’s something totally out of the ordinary for Westerly”he said to NBC10. “I would never expect something like that, much less in Watch Hill”he added.

Although the police insisted from the beginning that there were no crime signs, Day expressed their disagreement: “I definitely do not agree with that. Finding a leg is something very suspicious”.

It should be added that in recent months 13 similar findings have been reported in several New England stateswhat has generated rumors about a possible serial killer according to the media Page Six.

“My mind was direct to all theories that are being commented”Day explained. “Now I am more attentive to everything. I avoid dark places or where I can be alone. I try to stay in public places and be alert.”

Despite the cases, the authorities insist that there is no connection between them nor is there a threat to the population. For their part, Taylor Swift representatives have not referred to the case.

Taylor Swift had already been news for police issues recently. Last week, it was announced that the singer obtained a temporary restriction order against an ex -rule that would have harassed her for more than a year, visiting her house in Los Angeles and sending disturbing messages to her team.

The subject, identified as Brian Jason Wagner, is an ex -victo who would also have sent messages to the Swift team.

“The fact that these recent visits and the inappropriate and threatening communications of Mr. Wagner have intensified in the last weeks generate a fear of imminent damage”the composer wrote.

After reviewing the case, a Judge of Los Angeles granted the temporary restriction order, with the aim of protecting the artist while evaluating more permanent legal measures.
