Last Friday, numerous Shakira fans from Eagle Pass and Piedras Negras traveled enthusiastically to San Antonio, Texas, to witness their concert at the Alamodome. However, the event was canceled last minute, causing confusion and sadness among the attendees.

The concert had completely exhausted locations and anticipated a spectacular night full of the successes of the Colombian singer. People from various cities, including Eagle Pass and Piedras Negras, had acquired their tickets in advance, excited to see their favorite artist live.

Many were already rowing to enter when they were informed of the cancellation. One of the attendees wrote on social networks: “We were dressed and upset,” reflecting the general feeling.

According to sources close to the production team, the concert was suspended for safety reasons, derived from structural problems in the installation of the scenario.

So far, it has been reported that the concert will be reprogrammed, although a new date has not yet been defined.
